Curtze Food Service sponsors Kool & The Gang

Curtze Food Service will sponsor Kool & The Gang’s performance at 8:15 p.m. Friday in the Amphitheater.

Kool & The Gang is a popular funk and rhythm and blues band that was especially popular in the ’70s and ’80s. They have earned two Grammy Awards, seven American Music Awards, 25 Top 10 R&B hits and 31 gold and platinum albums.

“We’re excited to sponsor Kool & The Gang, who is sure to bring a fun and lively spirit to the evening with their mix of ’70s and ’80s funk nostalgia,” said Bruce Kern II, president of Curtze Food Service.

Curtze Food Service is a food service distributor based in Erie, Pennsylvania, who has worked in partnership with the Athenaeum Hotel for many years.
