Literary Arts Contests

Writers of all ages are invited to submit their poetry or prose by Sunday, Aug. 2, to the writing contests sponsored by Friends of the Chautauqua Writers’ Center (formerly Chautauqua Literary Arts Friends.) Authors’ Hour

Chautauqua Theater Company Brown Bag

At 12:15 p.m. EDT Tuesday, July 7, on the Virtual Porch, Chautauqua Theater Company hosts a CTC Alumni Brown Bag: A Homecoming. CTC alumni return to CHQ Assembly for an informal talk about life after Chautauqua, featuring a live Q-and-A for those who register for the event.

Birkenstock enthusiast and lover of all things yellow, Cloey Olkowski is the office manager at the Daily. This will be Cloey’s fourth season at the Daily and 20th season at Chautauqua. A native of Buffalo, New York, she is a recent graduate of SUNY Oswego, where she majored in public relations with double minors in graphic design and psychology. Three seasons ago she placed second in the Old First Night Run/Walk and hopes to take home the virtual gold this season.
