Chautauqua Institution’s 2018 season has brought a variety of musical talent to the Amphitheater, from Grammy-winning artist Alison Krauss to Grammy-nominated singer and pianist Michael Feinstein.

At 8:15 p.m. Friday, July 20, in the Amphitheater, Straight No Chaser will perform thanks to a sponsorship by Erie Insurance Group.

“We’re excited that people can enjoy the arts in the Chautauqua Amphitheater,” said Raychel Adiutori, senior marketing communication specialist at the company. “Erie Insurance has sponsored Chautauqua events over the years, and we are excited to add Straight No Chaser to the list.”

Straight No Chaser is an a capella group made up of 10 members, originally founded in 1996 at Indiana University. Its members have performed at the Institution before, appearing in 2011, 2013 and 2016.

“Chautauqua’s focus aligns with one of our key areas of supporting culture and arts initiatives,” Adiutori said. “Straight No Chaser was a popular draw during (the 2016) season, and we’re thrilled to be a part of bringing them back this year.”
