Cocktails, Concerts & Conversations with Chautauqua Dance featuring Pilobolus
At 5 p.m. EDT Tuesday, Aug. 11, on the CHQ Assembly Virtual Porch, join Pilobolus Co-Artistic Directors Renee Jaworski and Matt Kent in conversation with Chautauqua Dance Artistic Adviser Sasha Janes. With Pilobolus’ Big Five-OH (50th anniversary) year upon them, Jaworski and Kent will share videos and stories about where they have been and where they are going, as a world-renowned and visionary company.

Authors’ Hour
Chautauqua authors will read from their work 12:15 p.m. EDT every Thursday on Zoom during Weeks One through Nine. Find more information at www.chq.org/fcwc. Week Seven’s authors are Sabeeha Rehman, (memoirist), author of Threading My Prayer Rug: One Woman’s Journey from Pakistani Muslim to American Muslim, and Karen Weyant (non-fiction), author of Leading While Muslim: The Experiences of Muslim Principals After 9/11.

The author Cloey Olkowski

Birkenstock enthusiast and lover of all things yellow, Cloey Olkowski is the office manager at the Daily. This will be Cloey’s fourth season at the Daily and 20th season at Chautauqua. A native of Buffalo, New York, she is a recent graduate of SUNY Oswego, where she majored in public relations with double minors in graphic design and psychology. Three seasons ago she placed second in the Old First Night Run/Walk and hopes to take home the virtual gold this season.
