CSO Rebroadcast: Strauss’ Don Quixote

Authors’ Hour
Chautauqua authors will read from their work 12:15 p.m. EDT every Thursday on Zoom during Weeks One through Nine. Find more information at www.chq.org/fcwc. Week Eight’s authors are Judith Bowles (poet), author of Unlocatable Source, and Debbie Almontaser, author of Scholarship Boy: Meditations on Family and Race.

Weekly Conversation with Michael Hill and Candy Maxwell
Chautauqua Institution President Michael E. Hill and Board of Trustees Chair Candy Maxwell will hold the seventh of nine weekly community webinars at 1 p.m. EDT Thursday, Aug. 20, on the CHQ Assembly Virtual Porch. Log in to CHQ Assembly to register for the webinar. Thursday’s session will be “Strategic Plan Deep Dive No. 3: Chautauqua Lake.” Maxwell and Hill will respond to questions submitted during this Virtual Porch event.

The author Cloey Olkowski

Birkenstock enthusiast and lover of all things yellow, Cloey Olkowski is the office manager at the Daily. This will be Cloey’s fourth season at the Daily and 20th season at Chautauqua. A native of Buffalo, New York, she is a recent graduate of SUNY Oswego, where she majored in public relations with double minors in graphic design and psychology. Three seasons ago she placed second in the Old First Night Run/Walk and hopes to take home the virtual gold this season.
